deckard,

The current set that is available via torrent download contains the best known quality encodes of the entire set of 1399 as of 2007. Be sure you have these. Otherwise, for the ones that still have poor quality, there is not a great deal that can be done to restore information that is missing. If the tonal balance is off an equaliser can sometimes make the sound a little more intelligible. If there are digital artifacts I have not found any way to do anything about it. I believe that great effort was put forth to make the current set sound the best they possibly can and if some still don't sound very good then there probably is not much that can be done about it.

Best regards,

Wade

I can use Audacity to boost low volume episodes, but I haven't yet worked out how to change an episode that sounds awful into one that sounds good.
