I thought this might be a fun thread.
Who is collecting TV on DVD? Not movies, not special programming, just TV series in this thread.
I am collecting;
The Rockford Files (first three seasons and fourth on the way)
The Saint (I have all available so far)
Green Acres (first three seasons)
Hawaii Five-O (first season - just released)I had been waiting for WKRP in Cincinnati and the first season is finally slated to be released soon but I understand that the music bits that were a big part of the show in the studio have been replaced on the DVD's with other music due to legal issues and that blows that for me.
Other series I would like to collect are Wild Wild West and Magnum PI.
What are you folks collecting?

Damn, I figured that would happen. Why even bother then?
I am collecting the following:
Mash (Have all eleven seasons now, started collecting HH)
Hogans Heroes (Have seasons 1-4)
Night Stalker (uh, only one season, plus the TV movies)
Twilight Zone (Have them all)
Simpson's (Have seasons 1-9, I get them as they are released)
Dragnet (1950s - have all shows that are released)
Dragnet 1967 (will collect the others from second revival)
South Park (Bunch of the early stuff)
Beavis and Butthead (all shows)
Barney Miller (Season 1) There we go!

Hi to everyone,
Some of the newer shows I have are:
Friends--all ten seasons
King of Queens--5 seasons
South Park--all available to date
Family Guy--3 seasons
CSI--6 seasons
The older ones include:
The Andy Griffith Show--2 seasons (I still dream of living in Mayberry!)
Quantum Leap--3 seasons
The Night Stalker
Unsolved Mysteries (Ghosts edition)
Tales from the Crypt (HBO anthology series)- 3 seasons
There was an interesting show called "Night Visions" on tv for about 1 season, I have managed to tape them, but am still waiting for the DVD. I have a feeling I may be waiting awhile.
And count me in as a WKRP fan! though I haven't gotten to those yet.

I have a HUGE TV on DVD collection. Here are most of the series I have on DVD only:
Here are most of the series I have on DVD only:
The Twilight Zone (entire original series from the excellent Definitive Collection disc season sets and the first season of the 1980s series)
The Outer Limits (first season only of both the 1960s and 1990s series. I have some additional episodes from the new series too.)
Hawaii Five-O (First season. The 2nd season is scheduled for a late July release).
GUNSMOKE (various 1/2 hour and 1 hour black & white episodes, color episodes from CBS Video collections including the 50th Anniversary set. I also have many of the 1960s black & white 1 hour episodes off-air from The Westerns Channel.
Have Gun Will Travel (first 2 seasons, and eventually I'll buy the third. Season 4, 5, and 6 are still not available.)
Danger Man (the entire series -- 86 episodes 1/2 hour & 1 hour.
A.k.a. "Secret Agent". I got this at half-price last month for $75).
The Prisoner (all 17 of them)
The Saint (all of the 1st season and much of the 2nd season B & W. I haven't gotten around to buying the color episodes yet. Here in the USA a number of episodes from the middle seasons are missing, but I've seen them all before in TV reruns)
Alfred Hitchcock Presents (first season only, but planning to buy the second and beyond)
The Wild Wild West (First season 40th Anniversary edition....even though it was 41 years in 2006. Robert Conrad did a few commentaries on this set, but there are no commentaries on the 2nd season set....which I'm soon buying.)
Naked City (about 32 episodes of the hour-long version, Seasons 2, 3, and 4 only).
KOJAK (first season only)
COLUMBO (1967 TV movie pilot "Prescription: Murder" and entire original 1970s series -- all 7 seasons)
The Rockford Files (first 2 seasons, but I'll soon be buying the 3rd and later the 4th)
WISEGUY (about half of the 75 episodes, discontinued due to music clearance problems and also low sales)
The X-Files (entire series --- 9 years of the more affordable re-released DVD sets)
The Lone Gunmen (entire series -- 13 episodes)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (entire series -- 144 episodes in one box set).
Angel (first season only....so far, but I saw them all in first run)
The Red Skelton Show (various collections of 1/2 hour episodes from the 1950s and early 1960s, two 1 hour kinescopes from the The Red Skelton Hour from 1964-1965, and a couple of 1 hour color taped episodes in original form from 1968-1969 -- one with guest John Wayne).
The Jackie Gleason Show (a.k.a. The Color Honeymooners) -- First 9 episodes from the fall of 1966.
The Phil Silvers Show (18 episodes, audio commentaries, and lots of extras from the 4 seasons.)
Get Smart (The entire series in one telephone booth shaped box, this set has more special features than you can shake a shoe phone at!). Barbara Feldon did audio intros to all 138 episodes in 2006.
Monty Python's Flying Circus (entire series in one 18 disc box set that also includes one of their stage shows and two reunion specials).
Fawlty Towers (entire series -- 12 episodes)
Sledge Hammer! (entire series -- two seasons)
The Chappelle Show (first 2 seasons only)
The Best of MATCH GAME (about 30 episodes of the classic game show in the set)

Wow, you've got some good ones. Especially Columbo, Hitchcock, and Twilight Zone. Very nice. Some of those are on my wish-list.
I've ripped some for use on my iPod... Rockford Files and The Saint mostly.

I was a big MASH fan so I have up to season 10. I will also get season 11 soon. I have the first season of All in the Family. I liked that season a lot also, but haven't gotten more. My wife likes Starskey and Hutch and has all 4 seasons. She is also collecting House. Oh, she also has the first two seasons of Emergency.

I thought some folks might be interested in this.

I just procured the entire run (24 episodes) of The Persuaders (http://www.epguides.com/Persuaders/). I can't wait to do some watching.
Season 2 of Hawaii Five-O has been ordered and I recently received Season 4 of Rockford Files.
Some cartoons too. Droopy (The Complete Theatrical Collection) and Hong Kong Phooey (all episodes). Why did I order that? Who knows? I liked watching it as a kid. :)

I forgot to include some shows on my TV collection list, and that was one of them. :) Although I've seen every episode of The Persuaders from my 1980s VHS tape trading days, I did buy the last 11 on DVD (Volume 2) used for $20. They retailed for $60. :o A & E Video releases aren't cheap.
My most recent purchase was another 12 episodes of that great classic B & W police drama Naked City. Two of them are my favorites, including one with David Janssen in his last pre-Fugitive performance in "On the Battlefield Every Minute is Important" as an advertising exec who tempts Detective Adam Flint with a high-paying position in the ad business. The other had Steven Hill as a psychotic barber who dresses up as a cop to enact his own vigilante justice on the streets of New York!

Wow! You guys need to put up your own TV station. Your collections beat the majority of stuff that I see on the air these days. I do not collect DVDs, but if I did you have some of my favourite shows listed. Tops on my list is, of course, The Twilight Zone.
