Hello to everyone,
I thought it might be interesting to ask which episodes you think of as being truly scary--real chillers.
One that comes to my mind as having that chilling quality is "Hickory, Dickory, Doom". I like the frightened whispers in the quiet darkness of the night as the couple investigate a strange noise.
I like "The Onyx Eye" as well, very creepy in my opinion.

Parts of the crack in the wall were freaky. When you hear the little girl crying and screaming out to her mother for help and when they finally see her back from the grave all dead and burnt up. creepy.

Well, so far for me...
The Crack in the Wall has been by far the scariest. I guess I'll have to listen to Hickory Dickory Doom next, I hope it's scary.
Some people give things high ratings for scariness, like Sagamore Cottage, or The Real Printer's Devil..... but...honestly...I just didn't feel it.

I am going to have to listen "Crack in the Wall" again, it has been a long time since I have heard it, and I cannot recall what it's like.
I liked "The Real Printers Devil" but there are some episodes I would say are more creepy than having an overall scary tone.
"Onyx Eye", "You're Going to Like Rodney", and "Printers Devil" are a few I would call creepy in their plot line and endings.
What year is "Crack" as I have misplaced my guidebook (for me the CBSRMT Bible, lol)?
I know there are several episodes that ran together for a Halloween special one year--I recall "The Queen of Cats" was one of the titles, but as I said my book is missing so I can't look them up.
Hopefully ya'll will throw out a few more recommendations, I love the scary ones!

Great list! Thanks and welcome back.
I listened to "Crack in the Wall"--it was a good one!
I also have an episode title I am looking for--one that I recall being fairly creepy. It is about a doctor and nurse who are working in a hospital wing that is an older building possibly (it seems like there is a newer building where most patients have been moved except for a few that are in this older part.) There is a female patient who is mute, and at some point the nurse hears conversation coming from her room. They eventually discover the woman's mother or sister has escaped from a prison or mental facility and is hiding about the hospital.
If anyone can recall this episode, I would appreciate the title.
Pleasant dreams------
