Just got my first Apple IPOD; intent is to use for playing RMT episodes. Was not aware of Apple's proprietary software coding, within ITUNES.

Is anyone using an IPOD to listen to RMT? How practical is it? What do I need to do to convert files for proper usage on the IPOD? Any information you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Frank,

I do also... every day in fact on my 80 gig iPod. There should be no issues.

Simply create a playlist (if you like) called CBSRMT on your iPod and use iTunes and Windows Explorer (if you use Windows) to drag and drop the mp3 files onto your iPod.

There's really nothing to it, and that is all there is to it.

Let us know if you have problems and we will help.

I have the 1 GB I-Pod Nano (actually 912 MB). Since the battery life on it is 14 hours, rarely do I put more than 7 or 11 hours at a time if I know I'll be on the road and / or at work much of the day. The most I ever uploaded to it was about 25 hours of radio shows, which gave me 3 days of listening.

Usually after 1 day, when I come home I delete however many episodes of CBSRMT, Escape, SUSPENSE, etc. that I listened to and replace what I erased with the next episodes in order.

Sometimes I'll put them out of order so I can get the crappy-sounding copies out of the way first, so the high-quality copies are all that's left. ;)

Do you have a Macintosh, Frank? I-TUNES works best for any I-Pod, although there is a PC version of it too. The problem I have with CBSMRT though is that a lot of the poorer-quality episodes have audio that's too quiet to hear when I'm in traffic. I-Tunes has a sound booster but that feature doesn't really work except on my computer. It doesn't make much difference on the I-Pod Nano.

Hmmmm... Had trouble with "drag and drop" from My Documents into the Ipod or Itunes, but...

Figured out the import and synch functions. Finally... The creaking door is in my IPOD! Hopefully the problem is solved.

Thanks!
