A longtime bachelor of 40, Matthew, finally decides to marry a girl of 20. He visits a doctor friend of his to tell him of his news and to mention that he would not need his services as a Doctor anymore because his fiance doesn't believe in them. She has the power within her to get rid of her aches and pains and say she can do the same for Matthew.
After they are married he notices something odd about his new wife. He believes she is a witch. This is later confirmed , but his wife is killed trying to get to the Doctors' office because although she can get rid of the pain, she cannot get rid of what caused it. After her death Matthew discovers that he too is a witch. Was he always this way or did his new wife leave this to him after her death ????
I thought this was a good show, interesting, good acting and I kind of like the question it leaves you with in the end.

Another Good One Written By Sam Dann.
When an old man returns from sailing without his young wife a sheriff asks about where she is. The old man tells the sheriff the story of his life with his wife. When he was young , he met her and fell in love with her. She warned him not to fall in love with her but he does anyway and she tells him her secret. She has been 18 years old for 400 years and cannot die. Nothing can kill her either. Her father , who was a chemist mixed an Elixer of Eternal Life and gave it to her. He doesn't believe her but marries her because he loves her. One day a car accident does make a believer out of him . The car his wife is driving goes over a cliff, crahes and burns, and she walks away , unscratched.
He is now an old man and she is still young . She has been meeting with a younger man because she cannot help that she is 18 . She begs her older husband to help her die. She is tired of burying children and breaking the hearts of her husbands . She cannot do it anymore. Her husband mixes up an Elixer (he is a Chemist , too) after asking what was in the Elixer her father had mixed. Not even sure of what he was doing, he finally has a mixture his wife wants to try. She drinks it . One way she has not tried to die in the past is drowning. To test the Elixer they go sailing . The old man is hit on the head with a boom and passes out. When he wakes he does not know where his wife is. The sheriff eventually brings the old man to the morge where his wife's body lay. He had found the Elixer of Death. The doctor says she didn't drown, that she was poisoned. She was finally free but her husband was accused of her murder and he had lost his freedom.
I enjoyed this story. It was interesting from the start and my attention never wandered. I like the story telling between the old man and the sheriff.

A young couple is looking for a quiet place to work for the summer. He is a writer and she is a painter. They find a place in the newspaper that sounds wonderful, but they have to be interviewed because the place offers a floor in an individuals home. The woman does not like the kinds of questions she is being asked, but after sleeping on it, the couple decides to take the place. Everything is strange about the charming little town they go to, even the directions on how to get there. After a while the couple decide that it is too strange and try to leave but they cannot find thier way out of there by car.
I will not give away the ending. I will only say I found many clues in the early part of the show that helped me figure out what would happen.
I enjoyed this show even though I had it figured out early on. I would recommend it .
