800324 - The Blind Gun

This is a western and is hosted by Lorne Green. The commercials and news have been removed and the program runs around 39 minutes.

Jimmy Jenna is 19 years old and blind. His mother died at his birth and he lives with his father on a farm outside a small Wyoming town. Jimmy is quite capable, despite his blindness, at doing chores around the farm and even does the cooking.

One day his father goes into town and stops in the saloon for a drink. While he is there he encounters the local bully and there is an altercation between them.

This is where the trouble for Jimmy Jenna begins.

800402 - The Contractor

Vincent Price is the host.

A hitman is hired to kill a man and falls in love with his daughter - who then hires him to protect the same man he is supposed to kill.

Good concept so far but ... the writing and acting in this episode are not up to the standards we are used to with other programs such as CBSRMT. Pretty cheesy actually. It's not possible that people are really this stupid. Parts of this don't make sense. It would have been better for everyone involved if they all got shot.

Lorne Green hosts this program.

Set in a dying late-1800's Colorado mining town, three broke schemers devise a plan to go to boom-town Denver where they hope for better luck.

As can be expected, things do not go as expected.

Not a bad listen.
