I am enjoying the RMT and RAT programs and I thank you very much for those! I am still downloading the programs and I will be participating in the listen/response form next week. I am an audio book fan and indeed have many audible books and digital books from audible.com. My dad and I used to listen to RMT and many other programs when I was a young kid in the 70's. As a consequence of those days I have a love for short stories both written and audio. I have not heard of the Sears/Mutual Radio Theater and would love some copies. I too am becoming addicted to this! I listened to CBSRMT as a kid and stumbled across Les Miserables Part2 elwshere and became obsessed with finding the other 4 Les Mis shows. Little did I realize there was this wonderful place that I could (dare to dream) get the entire series :shock:

I have only 1 episode left to complete the CBSRMT collection and the CBSRAT series is complete so, I said to myself "Self, these guys haven't steered you wrong yet, get this one too! :roll:

I am happy to announce that I have created 4 more CBSRMT addicts. I figured if I start them out really young, they would be hooked for life! Now when we go somewhere, my kids 10yo~14yo always ask, "Do we have time for one of your radio shows?" My wife sadly, is another story but I'm still working on her. :wink:

I'm impressed. I only have two of these on cassette (recorded when I was 8 or 9) - the one I remember involved a "William Jennings Bryant" - who ultimately ended up being a "pig" - a disapointment to the town.

I know there weren't too many of these but the idea (if I remember correctly) of 5 'topics' - one for each day of the week - was a great one!

I would very much appreciate your entire collection.

I am guessing this is different than the CBSRMT. If so, this is the one my sister introduced me to.

My mother gave me her radio from high school when I was in elementary school, hoping I would take [i:79adc7d94f]it[/i:79adc7d94f] apart, rather than other electrical things which worked well. But when I started listening to these radio shows, I decided the radio must not be taken apart...I had a long history of taking things apart and not being able to put them back together.

Well, I certainly would be interested in the Sears/Mutual Radio Theater shows. I can remember hearing an ad for the series on the radio over 20 years ago, but never actually was able to listen to one. The fact that Vincent Price was one of the hosts always intrigued me, he being one of my favorites.

I hope I don't sound like a stuck record, but I want to offer my heartfelt thanks again to Vgarci, Charlie and others for sharing files and for making this forum possible. As I mentioned in my introduction, I had spent some two decades listening to the same handful of episodes over and over. It truly is magical, and if it isn't clear, I consider the generosity of everyone here to be the greatest holiday gift I could imagine.
