The CBS Radio Mystery Theater: An Episode Guide and Handbook to Nine Years of Broadcasting, 1974-1982, published by McFarland & Company, Inc. 1999; reprinted in 2004. $45. 475 pages.

Hi Roger,
It is really hard to narrow it down to just 3.
A Horror Story is a popular one with a lot of people, and so is Hickory, Dickory Doom.
I have a personal liking for The Onyx Eye. There is a thread here about making a cd of favorites, you might read some of the responses there.

It is too soon for me, because I have a very long way to go until I've heard all of the episodes (except for a few that are too poor quality to listen to).

"The Onyx Eye" I haven't gotten to yet, but I'm in 1975 so I'm getting there. That's one of the episodes that Himan Brown remade on the 1998 version of The CBS Radio Mystery Theater.

Does this book cover the new series as well?
