i have been trying to find a show i have somewhat vague memories about. the thing i remember most is that the word "ethereal" was used several times. it had something to do with a man who saw a vision or apparition of an alien or supernatural woman, ( i'm very sketchy on this part) but i remember he was enchanted with this woman and he repeatedly referred to her as ethereal (spelling?). i believe i was listening to this on the way home from a high school football game, and i think i was driving alone, so it would have to have been 82....but i cannot find it in the guidebook, did any radio stations continue to play repeats after its cancellation, does anyone know? Does anyone recognize this episode? I am beginning to think it was my dream.............. I turned 16 in 82 so I could not have been driving alone until then. Thanks for any help.

MsVicK,

It is one of the very last episodes, "Three Fireflies in a Bottle" aired late in '82. I remember it well...

I want to thank you so much for identifying the episode. I have not checked this forum in some time and had given up on a reply.
Before shutting my computer down, I just thought I'd quickly look and see if anything was new. (I am always hoping Mr. Brown will release and remaster this wonderful program.)
I found it in the episode guide, but the brief description had not been enough to register with my sketchy memory.
I listened to it finally. I have been searching for that one for a long time.
Again, thank you so much. I will consider you an official expert in my book.

MsVick,

Glad to be of service. All of us who love this series have the "ghost" of one or two episodes in our memories that we keep trying to find. That proves how good Mystery Theater Really is, that we remember it and it sticks in our mind this long.

Please let me know if I can be of further help and If you have a MT fan on your Christmas list, I hope you will keep my new book in mind:)

Best regards, and please give my best to both Arl and Arling:)
