Miles,
I tried to send them to you at "Lagavulin" and they did not go.
Do you have another Streamload handle?

I'd like to replace my copy of the Lady is a Jinx. I got it off the cbsrmt binary newsgroup recently. Is it possible for you or anyone else to post a good copy of the episode there? I don't have a streamlaod account.

I just started collecting CBSRMT MP3s. I was planning on hanging out in the CBSRMT binary newsgroup to start my collection.
Thanx!

We can get you the entire collection via Streamload.
You can download them for future listening as you please, or you can stream them directly from the site.
Go to www.streamload.com (http://www.streamload.com) and sign up. Let us know what your screen name is, and we'll beam them to you.
Most of us use Streamload to trade. If you have bad copies in your collection, just post it here, and somebody will send you a clean copy. Occasionally we find a file for which there is no good encode. But usually somebody can find a good copy.

Wonderful! Ok I setup a trail account. My user name is: zzyzx. I'm still trying to figure out Streamload. Do I need to install some sort of software on my computer or is streamload HTTP based?

No, no software needed unless you want to store files on Streamload. Then you need their uploading software which is available on the site.
If somebody doesn't beat me to it, I'll send you the files shortly.

OK, great. I logged on to Streamload and saw the inbox, ect. I'm not sure what Streamload want for fees. It states that it is free to download files but it cost a monthly fee for storage. If I keep the account, do I need to pay them 4.99 a month if I do plan to use storage on their site?

NightHawk,
Streamload doesn't charge for storage. They charge for download bandwidth. The easiest way to see how it works is to download with a freeload account. You'll quickly find that you are limited in the size of individual file you can download and the total amount of downloads you can pull. If the system seems to work for you, you can then decided if you want to pay $5 per month to download. You can quit at anytime if it doesn't work for you.

Ok, I see both messages from you now. Thank you. It looks like I have to buy a subscription to get them. I wanted to get the 25gig/month for one month only.
Can you tell me if I sign up, will they try to continue to bill me even if I tell them for one month only? I've read that the continued billing routine is standard operating procedure for outfits like AOL, especially if they have your credit card info. I was thinking of using Paypal to pay.

If you use paypal, they cant automatically take it out, you have to send it to them each month...
