Along the lines of this week’s double header Show of the Week with related themes, I have found another interesting pair:
???? ?????
(if anyone recognizes the name of this episode, please post here, I listened to it last summer before I was keeping a log)
Husband dies and woman grieves over her loss. The ghost of her husband must remain in the netherworld as long as he is remembered by someone thus preventing him from being full release into the afterlife. He desperately tries to convince his wife from beyond the grave to forget about him and take up with a living friend so he can be released.
0060 The Ghost at the Gate
A man who in life was a philanderer, in death is desperate to be remembered by the living. If he is not remembered he must leave to continue on into the afterlife.
These episodes are interesting together because they take one concept (rememberance after death) and take it in two different directions. Rather fun!
cheers
