Hi, me again. As I am reading some of the posts on this forum I am learning so much and having more fun than I ever imagined. I have a question or two. When saving a file of an episode, is it preferable to leave the station ID before and news after the show in or should it be cut out? Frankly it doesn't bother me but I got reinterested in CBSRMT again because of my mother who has a degenerative disease in her eyes and is losing her sight. One day she said- I would love to hear some of those mystery shows that came on late at night- so...here I am. Now I am addicted and cannot get enough. My mother likes them better without the news, etc. I downloaded a few from Limewire and edited that part out on my itunes and burned Audio cd's for her.
The more I collect I realize I cannot burn each one on an audio cd, but would like to have that option from time to time for her sake. I have received some mp3 files that will not go on my itunes and I cannot burn an Audio cd. Any ideas ????
I really do love all this information on this show. Too bad CBS doesn't rerun these shows on the air. They are so timely !!

Thanks for this forum.

Ethel,

As far as editing, you can leave in whatever you want. I like having the complete program with news and commercials but I'm a radio guy. Some people want only program content.

As far as your technical problems, I don;t have a clue. I don't know what itunes is at all but if you have the right software, you can convert from mp3 to .wav and burn audio CD's with no problem.
