I just listened to "A Bargain in Blood" written by Henry Sleser...

Of course I recognized it right away as the Twilight Zone episode"The Self-Improvement of Salvadore Ross"...based on Sleser's short story, adapted by Jerry McNeely. It was such a great concept that I had to see which other RMT episodes Henry Sleser might have written...seems like most of my favorite episodes are by him, including "A God Named Smith", "My Own Murderer" and "The Chinaman Button"...I also discoverd that Mr. Sleser had written many stories for Alfred Hitchcock's show. What a talent!

Wondering what other writers you might like...Elspeth Eric?..the prolific Sam Dann?

RadioKing,
I, too, enjoyed the Chinaman Button. Maybe that should make it's way to the show of the week someday. I haven't heard the other programs you mentioned, yet, but I'll get there. ;)

The late Ian Martin has beome of my favorite scriptwriters...I've found that most of my original favorite shows were penned or adapted by him.

My favorite is Bob Juhren. Henry Slesar is fantastic too, but he disappeared for awhile in the middle of the series.

Sam Dann is usually reliable, but wrote some real bad ones too.

With just a few exceptions, I don't care for Elspeth Eric.

Gerald Keane and Roy Winsor are ok, but they wrote some real junk too.

Ian Martin did some fine writing, but he didn't usually write the genre stuff that I like so much.

I'm just getting into the years where James Agate, Jr. wrote. My jury is still out on him.
