BAD ENCODES

Problem: file is fine until 0:36:35 or so when it switched from CBSRMT to a Suspense episode and at 38:19 it switches to a Shadow episode.

I tried this file on a couple of players with the same results - it skipped and repeated so much it was hard to even follow the story. Despite being 43 minutes in length, it skipped through in about 15 minutes.

It seems that every copy of the 4th epidoe in the 5 episode Nefertiti series on CBS RMT is muffled so bad after 2nd act, that you can't listen to it. right after she is looking at the infamous bust made of her, the sound goes bad. I loved that series and would love a clean copy to complete it. I am willing to share any of the episodes I have saved on my harddrive in trade for a clean copy of this one.I use Bearshare and you can browse my CBS RMT listings from their.You just have to let me know when you anticipate on downloading it, so I can have it available.

About 2 yrs ago a fellow posted good, complete versions of Exp. Heart and Gray Slapper both to a.b.sounds.r.o. His name was Radio, Radium, something that started with an R. About 25MB each, IIRC.

I don't do streamload, but they do show up on the newsgroups from time to time.

I've got the one that goes sour for Act II. I could've sworn there streamloads of a cleaner copy coming out of this forum, but in any case, if anyone out there is willing, I've opened a Streamload account which I am trying to figure out how to use at Kizer_Sosay.

Right now I'm a freeloader but as soon as I hear back from them which option is best for my needs (more downloads or more storage), I will sign up for a paid subscription.
