I'd like to ask some help.

I used to listen to RMT broadcasts on the radio and loved them. I first became acquainted with them in college.

I've found every program I really enjoyed from back then (The Hand, The Vampire Plant, Time and Again, Yesterday's Giant, The Teddy Bear) but one...and I've NO CLUE as to the name of it. Maybe you all can help.

It involved some rich guy (with "eyes so blue they were almost silver") with a wife named "Oona", whom he hatched a plot to kill. Problem (apart from being a murderer) for him was...after he killed her he found out she believed in reincarnation.

He spent the rest of his program running for his life from all sorts of creatures whom he suspected were his wife coming to seek revenge. At the end of the program, he died somehow. Later on, one of his friends, or house servants, saw a cat catching a mouse to eat and remarked in horror, "Did you see that mouse? It's eyes were so blue that they were almost...silver."

Does anyone out there know what this program was titled?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tex,

Welcome to the forums. I do not know what program that is off the top of my head. I searched the log for "oona" and "reincarnation" with no hits so not easy to identify.

Someone will know what it is though and we surely have a copy to pass along.

Any idea of the air date?

Charlie, thanks.

I heard it around 1978 or early '79 before June of the latter year, so any program with an original air date afterward is ruled out.

That would narrow it down. Have you looked through the log for those years to see if you recognize any possible titles?

If you find some possibles I will send them to you by Streamload.

I searched the log between 1/1/78 and 6/30/79 and found a few possible titles. These are wild guesses though. I hope it helps.

Revenge is Sweet
We Meet Again
She
The Silent Woman
You Can Die Again
The Undying Heart
The Avenging Ghost of Kitty Morgan

I will try to find time to listen and see also. I'm still looking for the comeuppance one myself. :x

CusBlues, Charlie, thanks...if you can help, thanks ...if I find it you'll know as quick as I can post it. I think I've sampled all of them except for the last two...I was going to rule out the "Kitty Morgan" one because I remember the wife's name was "Oona", but I probably shouldn't leave any stone unturned.

Someone on another board said this episode is "The Return of the Moresby's".

Can anyone verify? Thanks again in advance.

Interesting. I do have that one, do you have it?

I can check it for you if you don't.

It was the 2nd program: Jan 7, 1974 The Return of the Moresbys

[b:9ddb81a36a]Bingo![/b:9ddb81a36a]

That's your program: Nov 11, 1978 The Return of the Moresbys

A repeat of the 2nd program ever broadcast. I'll be adding a brief review to the logs forum.

Charlie,

Any way I could get a copy of that?

Of course the one file I don't know the name of is only the second broadcast ever in the program's history.

Sure thing. What's your Streamload ID (if you have one)? It's 13.3 megabytes so the Freeloader account will not let you download it.
