How many years are out there? Is it legal to record them? Are there copyrights to them?

There are 1399 shows from 1974 - 1982. You are okay for personal listening, but not for duplication to sell. If you have a Streamload account ID, post it here and you will receive all the shows.
Cheers!

Wow! That's cool. I will just have to figure out how to get a streamload account.
Thanks,
Rick

Is there any difference between using streamload and having someone copy the episodes to DVDs and selling the DVDs for personal use. The selling cost I assume would be for the cost of buying the DVDs and the time put in to copy and ship.
Any input?

I think the main difference is nobody here makes a profit off of it.
(almost) every evening, Kent (vergergc) sits down at his computer and logs on to this site to see who is requesting sets. He takes the time to streambeam everybody who wants a set.
I'm sure there are other sites that Kent could be visiting and he gets no monetary compensation for his time. Hell, he usually doesn't even get a thank you. But he does it because he and we want to share this show free of charge.
What we do here reduces the market for profiteers who sell the shows on Ebay and on private sites.
I'm sure Streamload makes a few dollars a month to store the shows on their system and allowing them to be downloaded.

Yeah, sounds about right, Brian. I realize now that no one should be making any kind of profit off of sharing the program. I don't think that the fees for Streamload are the same because it is just like renting a storage unit. Thanks for the input.

Hmmm... Legality...
I don't think these are legal to share even w/o profit. they are copyrighted. Look at napster or other p2p netowrks.
Also look at the top of the page... a banner. That equals $$$.
Steamload is paying for this site... plus who knows how much extra. So I woulnd't say nobody here is making a profit.
However I'd say the chance of anyone doing something about it is almost 0. There are plenty of people alot more obvious (ebay/other sites) that would be busted first.
But just because you won't get arrested doesn't make it legal. Like going 56mph in a 55mph zone is still illegal.
So if you wish to aquire these legally... you are out of luck. Which is another reason why nobody is likely to get busted for sharing these.
