I would like to get the show that was aired around the first half of 1979 & was about people in a mountain snow cabin and one of them was a killer. I hope this is enough of a description.

Thanks so much Kent for putting those shows in my StreamLoad Account and for your work in collecting all these shows and for your techno skills in getting these shows to us.

I will have to buy more space to hear the shows over 10MB and I had some silent breaks in the broadcast of 2 shows I listened to already, but that is because I am listening through the phone line & not through a cable connection.

It's actually calming to hear these shows and not the annoying flashing images and loud talk on TV. I even love hearing the commercials from back during those days when a commerical didn't make my skin crawl and cause me to press a mute button like now because they are so annoying.


I was wondering if back in those days the makers of MT knew who constituted most of their audience? Was it teens or preteens according to their information back then? The topics of the shows seems as if the shows could be aired for many ages or people who loved retro radio even during the 1970s.

I agree with your sense of relaxed listening, versus the in your face approach so common on TV today.

Interesting question.... I'd think they knew their audience since Arbitron ratings books have been around for many years. Maybe they had a better picture after running the first year than when they first went on the air.
