Hi,
I too listened to Radio Mystery Theatre when I was a kid. I just discovered this site and the sharing of episodes. This is great! I'd like to collect some/all of the shows to share with my children.

It seems like the group shares these via Streamload. Their free service stores 10GB and download 100MB/month. This is great for a few shows - obviously this is not too useful for transferring all the shows. Their $4.95/month gives 1GB/month which would take about year to download. At $9.95/month it would take 2 months to download and at $19.95 you could download everything in a month.

Does the group use other transfer mechanisms? Are there ftp servers or other peer to peer sites for this or does everyone spring for the upgraded sites?

To get started, I would appreciate a few of the shows uploaded to my streamload account:

Thank you and let me know if there are other transfer options.
Don

Hi,
As an interesting experiment, I made a simple upload page to upload the files direct to my home site. If you want to try uploading, you can open your browser to: http://www.mclennan.us/upload.aspx and upload a file.

If there is interest, I can try limited downloads too! Or I can share the web page code if others would like to use.
Thanks again,
Don

Welcome Don,

I'll send the collection to your Streamload account, and you'll have them for whatever you decide to do. Our forum does use that method for the most part, as far as I know. With 1399 shows almost an hour long, that seems to be an efficient way to handle transfers quickly.

You will find out there some other OTR sites, and a RMT Yahoo group that use other methods. I'm not really sure what people end up doing to get all the shows downloaded, but your analysis is correct - either you take some time, or spend some money to get them all on this forum using Streamload.

Enjoy,
Kent

Thanks Kent - I'll experiment with Streamload. This is really a neat site and collection of people!
