Hello all,

Windows Media Player 10 says I can only fit approximately (2) episodes per audio CD.

That's going to be A LOT of CD's used to burn the collection.

Is there a way to compress/convert the .mp3 CBSRMT files so that more will fit on each CD?

Use a dual layer DVD burner like a Plextor 716 and burn them to DVD so instead of 650-700MB storage space each you'll have 9.4 GB each

Burn an MP3 CD (a regular CD-R that has a bunch of MP3s burned onto it), then you can fit up to 700 MB of shows on one CD. That's around 65 episodes or so. Then play the CD on a CD or DVD player that can play MP3 CDs. That's what I do. I also have all 1400 episodes saved on 3 or 4 DVD-Rs as backups, and burn a new MP3 CD with the next batch of episodes whenever I'm in need of new ones to listen to.

You don't need to do anything to the MP3s that were sent to your Streamload account, just burn them directly to CD-R. "2 episodes per CD" must be referring to ripping the MP3s to WAV and then burning them as an audio CD. You can only fit up to 80 minutes of audio per CD that way, so 2 episodes per CD is even optimistic (and impossible, actually, being that each episode is over 45 minutes long without commercials, etc.).

Is there a way to toggle Windows Media Player 10 to keep .MP3 instead of .WMA? If not, what burn software is recommended (free is nice).
