Hi All,
This may sound a little silly, but it occured to me that there are soooo many radio shows to hear, that you could listen to a new one every day and it will still take almost 4 years to hear them all. So, realistically, lets say one every 4 days for 16 years, or one a week for 28 years.
Uh, that's a long time.
Is it worth saving every episode? Or do you delete after listening and cross it off your 'life list'?
Just curious for some other points of view. To make it simple, I've added a poll for those who just want to answer via a vote.
Thanks,
Ken

I can't believe this is a serious question
Personally, I "Save" like the packrat I am because I blew it the first time around (when I was a kid) and didn't think to keep these masterpieces!!!!

I spent many, many hours downloading the files, renaming them in a manner that was easy for me to understand and track, burning them into a 28 cd collection, and cataloguing them for quality and content.
You bet I'm going to keep them. Whenever the cd and cd-rom are replaced, I'll transfer them to that new medium (probably memory cards).

Like Vince, I can get to be a packrat about collecting things like this.
I'm sure I'll listen to them repeatedly - my memory isn't all that great, and after a number of years, I should forget the endings of most of the stories.
And this series is great to have handy. I burned a CD for my brother, who does a lot of travelling - a lot of overseas flights. These are great when he wants to watch a movie, but is a bit tired, and it gets to be a strain to keep his eyes open. Also, when he wants to sleep, there's something about all the talking and the deep bass in the voices that put us to sleep as kids in the 70s, and still works today.
I guess it's like when people read at bedtime to help them sleep. I'm not saying the stories are dull - far from it; it's just one of those things. Sometimes it takes me 3 tries before hearing a whole episode. Each night I fast forward to where I nodded off the night before.
Then again, if I turn it on in the morning, when I'm awake, but don't wanna get out of bed - I can listen to 2 or 3 episodes in a row!
Oh, I'm rambling. My vote is "save 'em all!"

You betcha ... besides, after listening to 1399 episodes, I would have to look back at my Listening Log to even remotely conjure up a recollection of most of them.
