Hi. I am so glad I have found this site! I am a long time fan of the old radio programs and in searching for them, have only found them for sale so far. And since they are not copyrighted, I find this a bit frustrating. Anyway - my Streamload name is tammywilson and I would love to get the old Mystery Theater programs. I remember lying in bed with my grandmother when I was a little girl listening to them on the radio and being scared out of my wits! When I got a little older, I would find them occasionally on some crappy AM station that would cut in & out all the time.

Hi Tammy. I welcomed you in the other thread so see that one...

These programs [b:14ee0516fd]are[/b:14ee0516fd] copyrighted - it is illegal to sell them.

I will send some programs to your Streamload account in a bit. Please post back when you get them.

oops - my mistake - i bet i was thinking of the haunting hour ones or something. i have read in a couple of different places where a lot of these old programs are not copyrighted so are able to be distributed. i don't know...

Tammy,

A lot are not copyrighted but CBSRMT is.

I have sent files to your Streamload account. Please let me know if you have received them. Craig has not received his so something may be amiss.

i haven't received them yet, but it may be due to their maintenance efforts. i tried to upgrade my membership there also, and it was temporarily down. :(

YAY! it's finally working. i got 4 messages from you, charlie, but when i open them they say no attachments. but it says there are like 2716 files or something - does that sound right? next question - if i want to share them with anyone - do i just have them open a streamload account and email them from my account? and if i put them in the "hosted" file, which says it makes files to the internet, then can people go there and download from there?

Yes, you can just e-mail the files to them. They call it e-mail but it is not quite the same thing as regular e-mail. It is just giving them access to the files on Streamload.

There are not actually attachments to the e-mail - you have to go to Streamload and into your Inbox to download the actual files.

Putting them in hosted will share but I think that feature is temporarily disabled. I have all my files in that folder too.

for some reason, "download" is not an option when i go into my streamload inbox. it shows four messages, but when i open them, nothing happens except it looks like an email message. i don't understand how to download the files. here's the link to the page - please look at it and tell me what i'm doing wrong.

thanks.

Tammy,

I could not look at your account without your password but that is not necessary anyway.

All you need to do is check the boxes next to the programs that you plan on downloading during that session.

Then click on [b:7a2ce00bb8]Download[/b:7a2ce00bb8] which has a red arrow pointing down just above the word "download."

Then, the next page will load with download links you can click on, or if you use a download manager (GetRight) you can click on that.

Let us know if you have problems.

i'm not getting the download option. i have the open option adn that's about it. i can archive or copy - no download. and i even paid their stupid fee to get more storage and downloads.

Tammy,

Actually, their fees are really reasonable but I'm not sure what the problem is.

Look at this picture and see the arrows I have drawn on. Note where you check, and the download thing that the other one is pointing at.

Do you have that on yours? If not, describe the problem.

i am emailing you what mine looks like because i can't get it to post right on here.

Tammy,

You need to open those folders. You are trying to download from one directory level too high. Open one of the folders to see the programs and then you can download.

i emailed you what it looks like when i open them. it will not let me download after i open them. i have downloaded stuff on there before with no problem, but i just can't on the ones you sent.

Tammy,

I can't seem to e-mail you as your server doesn't want to receive e-mail from mine.

From that last e-mail you sent me, I think you need to open one of the folders until you see the program names and then click a couple of them and hit the download arrow.

If that is not the problem, then I am not sure what it is. I've not had trouble with it as such and am not sure.

The other thing would be for you to contact their tech support to see if something is indeed wrong with your account.

i think you should be able to email me now. there are no programs to click on is the problem. there is nothing but an email type message. who knows. maybe i should delete them and we could try again?

Tammy,

I just sent files again. Click all the way in as far as you can as there are sub-directories of the main directory.

it worked the second time you sent the files. it wasn't going anywhere the first time. but now when i try to download them it tells me it can't find the files because of maintenance on the server. i'll keep trying.

There have been some slight bugs and delays with Streamload since they went to the next generation of their software.

Hopefully, this will be fixed soon and I would advise you to keep trying.
