Need a few episodes-- some in mass streamload did not work

Hi! (I'm squirming with delight). The sight of almost 1400 MP3 files on my hard drive is well, nothing short of amazing. Not bad for $19.95. (for those who have not yet done the math- a wee bit more than 1.4 cents per episode!).

Due to continuous "this file not available" errors, I need the following re-transmitted to my streamload account, so I can pick them up please...!

57, 245, 249, 251, 253, 1287, and 1388. Streamload user = caseybea.

The streamload + getright combination worked like a charm. Broadband cable connections are excellent :)

The last episode I just listened to, "The old ones are hard to kill", was GREAT. Why? Well, good drama. But the lead-in news stories were even better. In 2 minutes, I heard live coverage of unraveling events of the Watergate scandal, the Arab oil embargo and the energy crisis, and the cold war. The commercials had the OLD original "bud" song. Whomever is considering editing these episodes-- PLEASE keep the commercials and such IN there. They are a time capsule that's precious, and should not be removed.

The episodes you listed probably need to be uploaded again to Streamload. I'll start on that tonight.

As you move through the 1974 season, there are three stories you can follow for awhile via the news that are on the original tapes:

Watergate

Patty Hearst abduction

Kansas City School strike

I keep track of these in my listening log if there's something you want to search for.
