I'm 97.2 percent there! (Help, need more files)

Well, I have all 1400 files. But, there's a problem with a few of them. Of all my files, a few came up weird. The problems I experienced were one of:

a) File cut off or too short (i.e. only 1MB, etc).
b) Windows media player cannot open the file, period.
c) Windows media player opens the file- but then generates a weird class error.

I could see something amiss with the files when viewing the directories in "tile" mode. The MP3 "summaries" (clip info) was not displaying for some files. None of the files with missing clip info played in WMP. Some of these play ok with Real-One player, but I need these to be 100% windows compatible.

I got the THOUSANDS of files from Vince (thank you!)- looking for an alternate source to upload the following list to my streamload account so my collection is truly clean. (Vince- not sure what's with these files?? you may wanna check them out?)

Here's the list..... Less than 3 percent of the whole collection!

39 broken episodes total. (not bad out of 1400!!!)

PS: Who's the woman introducing the episodes in the late 80's? What happened to EG Marshall?

I can't explain the file discrepency but I definitely experienced some oddities with Wendell, too. The files were fine for me but Wendell received a 1k file even after I reloaded them. We tried everything and I think we finally resorted to using an FTP server. Anyone else have an idea as to what might be going on here? As for the 80's female narrator, that's Tammy Grimes who was also an actress in many of the programs.

Vince-- I don't blame you for the oddities - I appreciate all your help! SOmething amiss with the gosh darn technology :)

Can someone else fill in the blanks I need above??? MANY THANKS. I'd like to do this before my 1st month of streamload expires :)

Are you using GetRight? I've been checking to make sure I'm getting complete downloads and redownloading items that have not quite made it all of the way through the system. I've never had one that I can think of (I didn't download CBSRMT this way, though) where the Streamload copy wasn't all there as a working file. You may want to try and redownload the episodes in question and see if that helps anything.
