I have quite a few programs on Streamload if you want them.

As well, I have the entire run of CBS Radio [b:e9019f175d]Adventure[/b:e9019f175d] Theater!

Post your Streamload User ID and what you want and I will help you as quickly as I can.

Hi Charlie,

Wow, I had forgotten about the [b:9b5c25060b]Adventure Theater[/b:9b5c25060b]. If I remember right, that was hosted by Tom Bosley, wasn't it?

My daughter is 7 years old, and a bit too young to enjoy CBS RMT, but I'm introducing her to other OTR shows like "Let's Pretend."

I bet she'd love to hear the CBS Radio Adventure Theater - and so would I!

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks Charlie - for the streamloads, and for making this forum available.

I remember my parents talking about the great old shows they listened to as kids. Now I'm doing the same thing with 'my' daughter - telling her about listening to CBS RMT and what that was like.

Thanks!

Charlie,
I'm still downloading the files you sent me via Streamload. In all honesty, I had never heard of Streamload before you mentioned it and I'm a complete novice. In general, it seems to work great and it's very quick with a broadband connection. Now my question, is there a way I can schedule many files to download one after the other? The download manager (bulk download) doesn't seem to work as I would expect. vince

Vince,

Get Right is the recommended software to use as a download manager - although I do not have it. I am done downloading from Streamload and I only maintain my (paid) membership so I can help others.

I downloaded one at a time when I was downloading since we are still on dial-up out here in the Maine woods. I never was able to stay on long enough to get more than one at a time so I can not comment on that.

Are you using Get Right or anohter download manager? I believe you just copy the URL's from the download page and add them to your download manager but the "help" section may have more information on that.

I use GetRight for my Streamload bulk downloading and it works like a dream. You select the files you want, hit the little truck symbol (deliver)for bulk downloading, then a window pops up with streaming or downloading instructions. Once you select bulk download, a little message pops up, you hit open, it gives the info to GetRight and it begins the downloads, with mine, two files at a time. (I too am on broadband). It works very slickly and smoothly and you can program GetRight to delivery immediately, later, whatever is convenient for you.
