I have been contacted by a number of people who are confused by the process of downloading programs from Streamload and some folks have felt that it is just too complicated and have given up.
The good news is that it isn't hard at all and you can learn to do this in less than 10 minutes. Then, once you are going, this becomes pretty much an automated activity.
If you are fortunate enough to have a high-speed connection to the Internet, you can set this up, walk away and get loads of programs quickly.
If you are on dial-up, you can still download the programs just about as fast as you can listen to them. If you can leave your computer connected to the Internet for long periods of time, you can still acquire programs in bulk. I downloaded over 800 programs this way!
Let's get started and if you don't understand any of this, just post a question.
[b:f9519357df]Step 1:[/b:f9519357df] If you don't yet have a Streamload account, click on the Streamload button at the bottom of this page and sign up. Just follow their instructions to sign up. This should not be difficult but if you have problems with the process, ask and we will help.
[b:f9519357df]Step 2:[/b:f9519357df] If you want to download programs in bulk, go to http://www.getright.com and download the program GetRight. Once it is downloaded, install it on your computer as you would any other piece of software that you downloaded. Again, if you run into problems or don't understand, just ask. Note also that it is not mandatory to use GetRight to download the programs. You can do it manually as you would any other file. This program will do the downloading for you if you want to download a lot at once.
[b:f9519357df]Step 3:[/b:f9519357df] When you are ready to start downloading log into your Streamload account and go to your Inbox, or wherever you have the CBSRMT files that you have received from one of us. If you don't yet have any programs to download in your account, just ask and one of us will send them to you.
If you have the programs, they are probably stored in folders and you will have to open the folders individually to get to the programs. Some folks have hit the wall here and not been able to get past this. Just click on a folder and it will open and show you the programs that are in it. (You can also click on "open" next to it.)

[b:f9519357df]Step 4:[/b:f9519357df] Now, you will see something that looks about like this:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-02.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
The names of the programs in that folder should be listed.
If this is your first time trying, let's just download 3 programs to learn how it works, then you can load 'er up next time with a bunch.
Check the boxes next to any 3 programs (as shown in the picture), then in the upper right hand of the picture you will see a red arrow that points down and says [i:f9519357df]Download[/i:f9519357df] under it.
Click on that.
[b:f9519357df]Step 5:[/b:f9519357df] A new page will load that looks like this:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-03.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
[b:f9519357df]If you are NOT using GetRight and you are using Mozilla or Netscape[/b:f9519357df], put your mouse over the first URL and [b:f9519357df]right click[/b:f9519357df] once. You will see this menu pop-up:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-04.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
Select [i:f9519357df]Save Link Target As...[/i:f9519357df] and the standard Windows dialogue will pop up to let you select where on your hard drive that you want the file to be saved. If you do not understand that process, let us know and we will explain that to you.
[b:f9519357df]If you are NOT using GetRight and you are using Internet Explorer[/b:f9519357df], put your mouse over the first URL and [b:f9519357df]right click[/b:f9519357df] once. You will see this menu pop-up:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-05.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
Select [i:f9519357df]Save Target As...[/i:f9519357df] and the standard Windows dialogue will pop up to let you select where on your hard drive that you want the file to be saved. If you do not understand that process, let us know and we will explain that to you.
[b:f9519357df]If you are using GetRight[/b:f9519357df], (let's look at the picture again)
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-03.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
Click once on the second button that says [i:f9519357df]Bulk Download[/i:f9519357df]
If this is the first time that you are doing this, it may pop up a thing that shows that you are downloading a file. This file is not CBSRMT programs but a list of URL's. If you follow these instructions, it should only do this the first time you go through this. After that, it will just automatically start downloading the programs with GetRight.
The file it wants to download, save it on your [b:f9519357df]DESKTOP[/b:f9519357df]. The download will take less than one second. ([b:f9519357df]After you have completed this and you are downloading programs, you can go back and delete the file you just downloaded. It will not ever be needed again.[/b:f9519357df])
When that small file has been downloaded to your [b:f9519357df]desktop[/b:f9519357df] it will create an icon there. Just minimize the windows that are open and find it on your desktop. It looks like this:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-06.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
Double click on that and this should pop up:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-07.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
The two boxes at the bottom of that will not be checked (most likely) so go ahead and check them and hit [i:f9519357df]Yes[/i:f9519357df].
It should automatically bring up your GetRight program and start downloading the programs.
If not, just ask for help.
The GetRight program should look something like this:
[img:f9519357df]http://www.iamoka.com/cbsrmt/helpimages/help-08.jpg[/img:f9519357df]
You should be going now. If you have problems, just ask. One of us will try our best to help! Please ask questions here rather than e-mailing. It will help others later!
