Charlie,
I'm a new member and would like to create CD-ROMs of the CBS Mystery Theater for my mother. She's 82 and legally blind, and I think this would be a wonderful gift for her. If you could download some programs, and give me some hints how I could create CDs, I would appreciate it. My Streamload id is wierzbic.
Thanks, Ted Wierzbic

Hi Ted and welcome aboard.
I am transferring files to your Streamload account right now...
You can download them and burn mp3 CD's easy enough if she has a CD player that plays mp3 files. (They do sell them at Wal-Mart now in the $50 range.) You can put a lot of programs on each CD.
Or, you can convert them to .wav files and get one program on a CD.
From the way you worded your post, I would ask if you are familiar with making CD's at all?

Charlie,
Thank you for the downloads. Yes, I am familiar with creating music CDs, and this sounds similar. I'll let you know if I run into any problems.
Thanks again, Ted

Charlie,
I've gotten on Streamload, and see the files that you've sent me. When I select an individual program to download, everything appears to work fine. Winamp starts up, and I can play the program. My problem is that the Download places the file name in a Windows file 'Temporary Internet Files'. I can't seem to get the Streamload Download to download the real MP3 file to a file on my hard drive. Does this make sense? Am I doing something wrong, or do I just not understand how the Streamload Download works?
Thanks, Ted

Ted,
Click the box next to the programs you want to download. Select two or more at a time, then press the "download" icon.
Then on the next page (if you use Internet Explorer) right click and select "save target as" to pop up the box to give you the navigation for your hard drive.
I think that is how it works with IE. I use Mozilla so I'm not completely sure but try that.

Charlie,
Your advice "Then on the next page (if you use Internet Explorer) right click and select "save target as" to pop up the box to give you the navigation for your hard drive." was right on target! It downloaded to the file I selected. Thanks for your help.
