I only have 5 CBS RMT episodes. I would love to have the years of 1977-1979. I have every episode of The Whistler which is an old radio show that was broadcast from the years 1942-1951. I would enjoy trading someone for my entire Whistler collection in MP3 format for the years 1977-1979 of CBSRMT. I would love to have those years as those were the years I listened to the show as a young boy. If someone is willing to trade the entire series for my Whistler collection I would like that even more smile.gif
At any rate I am happy to be here. I have a free Streamload account right now. If you feel like sending me any CBSRMT episodes then please feel free to do so my account name is merfalen. I also have a bunch of different old time radio shows in MP3 format if anyone would like to know what I have I would be happy to share anything I own. I am so happy to be here and to have others to share these awesome memories with. God Bless you all...

sincerely,

joseph.

Joseph,
We can do better than that! You're now the proud owner of all the CBSRMT programs. Check your streamload account. And I'd certainly appreciate the Whistler series as I don't have any of these programs. We hope you'll introduce yourself, tell us how you became interested, and participate in the forums. It's great to have you on board!

When I was a little boy approx. 4 or 5 years of age (I am now 30) my mother worked at Bullocks. She did not get off from work till 10pm at night. My father would drive my siblings and I to pick up my mother. As we would sit in the car and wait for her to leave work my dad would turn on the radio and we would listen to CBSRMT. I was too young to really remember a specific episode. I do remember the music and sound effects. The screehing door and the voice of E.G. I did not remember the name of the program. I often would ask my father and although he recalls the nights when we would listen to the program he did not remember what the show was called. Here is how I found out that the show I was listening to as a little boy was indeed CBSRMT...A few months ago I found a website of a fella who sells tons of old radio shows on CD in mp3 format. I ordered a set of every Whislter episode on CD and as a bonus that fella sent me a sample CD with various old time radio shows. I was listening to different ones on the Sample CD and I played one that was titled CBS Radio Mystery Theater. Now keep in mind I did not know that the show I listened to as a kid was indeed CBSRMT. I just remembered the show, the music, the sound effects and E.G.s voice. So imagine my joy when I played the MP3 labeled CBS Radio Mystery Theater. I was in disbelief. I never forgot those memories that i had as a kid sitting in the a dark car waiting for my mother to get off from work. I was so happy to be listening to the same shows I heard as a kid. Now through the beauty of Streamload I have the entire set. WOW!!! I am so filled with joy I doubt I will be able to sleep tonight. I want to say thank you for taking the time to read this and for making these wonderful programs available to me. I truly and dearly appreciate it.

Sincerely,

joseph

Hello to everyone on this forum. My name is Bradley Lee West, from Roseboro, Sampson Co., North Carolina. I am 41 years old. I have just recently gotten into this Old Time Radio thing. First it was Hopalong Cassidy radio shows, then I stumbled across this site that I haven,t heard of since my days in the hospital.
Way back in 1975 up to 1982 at Duke Hospital in Durham, NC., I had to have some surgeries and on my bedside I had a radio that I came across my first CBSRMT, I vaguely remember it being about a devil that would come down the chimney at night and a man wanted his friend to watch it happen. I may be wrong because it was along time ago. But I liked what few episodes I ever got to heard. They were on AM station. There were a few times at home late at night I could catch a show but there were a lot of static in it.
I found Vince who helped me get this collection of the series and I'd like to thank him very much for this. There are a few episodes that I can't get a complete episode for, if anyone can help me get them complete, I'd appreciate it. #295 Can you Trust your Husband, #575 Tomorrows Murder, #764 The Laughing Maiden, #1090 Let George Do It, #1284 The Good Ship Aud, and #1300 The Heart Of Boadicea.
Thank You
Bradley :D
