Folks,

I am the founder of these forums, but those of you who are newcomers have only seen me as someone that posted long ago.

Simply put, my life has become complex to the point that I have not really been able to participate here. My girlfriend and I started a business and we both still work full-time and hobby-related activities and such took a backseat a couple of years ago. So, things that I like had suffered. I haven't listened to a CBSRMT episode in well over a year.

But, hopefully, that will change soon as I have ordered an iPod and it should be here next week. Listening to CBSRMT again is one of the things I am looking forward to!

The moderators here have done a good job but I know that the forum has suffered without my attention.

The software that drives these forums has been orphaned by the company that produced it as they have moved on to another forum product.

I would like to convert these forums to vBulletin. It is the best forum software package around right now and I know how to use it.

It costs $160, which is not a lot, and if we can raise that much money, I will convert the forums to that software.

If there are 16 people that will donate $10 (by PayPal) then we can do this. If not, we will keep what we have.

If you are willing to help, please post and I will follow up later.

Hi Charlie,

I am certainly willing to help with whatever is necessary to keep this forum alive. Tell me where to send a PayPal payment. If there is anything else I can do just let me know.

Best regards,

Wade

If 15 people will donate $10, I will pay the other costs.

We will wait until 15 people volunteer and then I will give information.

Thank you.
