I can rarely log onto this site. I have occasionally seen others mention this problem. Is there anything we the users can do to solve this? The hosting company seems to have a great deal of difficulty keeping this site online. The lack of participation on this site could certainly be attributed to the fact that the site is down a great deal more than it is active. After a couple of weeks I had almost decided that the site was history. It will be impossible to gather more participating members in significant numbers under these conditions. I'd certainly be willing to help.

I was waiting for others with similar problems to respond first. Nonetheless, I must say I've never, ever had problems logging onto this site. The only glitch I've experienced is that, occasionally, my name won't appear as logged-in on the main page when in fact I am logged-on. If it's of any help, I'm using a PC with Windows XP (home edition), and my browser (99% of the time) is Firefox. The fact that I've mentioned the foregoing makes my opinion transparent; namely, that the problem may be related to your OS or browser; and especially the latter. What browser are you using, generally?

I've not had any problems either.
Keep in mind, the owner of the site has abandoned us. So, if we encounter problems, we're on our own.

the last i heard from Charlie was back in November 2005. he was swamped with work and found little time to devote to the site.
for the most part, i can always log in. but i must say that often, it takes five or six clicks of the bookmark before i can connect.
the site is totally functional, clean, and not really in need of any upgrades (well, beyond that connection thing, but that may be the servers), so i feel good knowing i can jump in and participate any time. I am on a Mac using Safari as my browser.
also, to note, Summertime is notorious for being the slowest time for this site. whether people are on vacation, working, or just dealing with the season and kids and such, folks usually retreat back to the site come the fall.
i've always wished we could run some kind of promotion to get more traffic to the site. but, like Charlie, I am also pretty swamped up and have little time to devote to the site. i wish it were different, but priorities do dictate, right. ugh!
thanks for the post rmtfan - glad you got the topic started!

A bit later than the rest, but.... I seem to be lucky - not having any site issues.
Cheers!

Hi all. I've noticed no issues so far. As I see from the other posts about tuff time schedules, all I understand that the Show of the Week may be hard to keep updated. Although not actively participating, I still enjoy listening to the Show of the Week and reading everyone's thoughts on the programs. We're still out here. Just not as active. Love the site!
