I like to hear news that at broadcast time, was just "normal" news events. For instance, the Inner Sanctum Mysteries show titled "41-12-07_-_Island_of_Death_-_(Pearl_Harbor_announcement).mp3" is preceeded by the news of Japan's declaration of war and that in 2 bombing runs and several straffing's, more than 10 people were killed. Looking back, that has to be the biggest understatement that was made last century.

Does anyone have any other historical news that was passed at the time as "normal" news. (Watergate don't count, that was in my lifetime and hearing that once in a lifetime is more than enough smile.gif )

I have the news broadcast of Hitler's death and the attack on Pearl Harbor. Not sure if the Pearl Harbor one is the one you have. I'll send them both along to you.

Thanks, I have a few news clips. Most of them, the commentator knew (or should have known) how significant they would be to this country's history.

If anyone wants my (small) collection, let me know. I'm sure someone here can walk me through putting them on Streamload or I can e-mail them directly to you.

Wendell,

Heh, I went through alotta work putting together a tutorial for you but have NO idea how to get this IMG thingie here to work so I put it together on my website for you. It's a completely detailed walkthrough to help you upload and send files using Streamload. It's extremely graphic-intensive due to the pics I have included. You can access it here:

Hope it helps!

Great job, Wendell. I've already listened to them all. The Hindenburgh has to be one of the most dramatic radio events ever!
