View Full Version : How, where and when do YOU listen?

I am a die-hard groupie of the CBSRMT sessions. I plop ten episodes a week onto my 20GB iPod and listen almost exlusively when I go to bed. I used to read before bed, but I'd always get about three pages in before dropping out. These tales not only get me to bed a little earlier, but they are a wonderful way for the brain to paint images into the imagination just before sleep.

My iPod set-up is a mirror of how I had things set up as a kid, listening to the sessions on old 1960's clock/radio my parents tried to throw away.

Sometimes, when going on a road trip, I will bring along the iPod and play it through my car's cassette deck via an adapter. Fortunately, there's plenty of music and such to pass the time. But once the sun goes down and I'm driving along some lonely highway - I tune into a fine spun tale of horror or suspense! hehe

Lastly, the best thing is when I have too much on my mind and cannot sleep, I find great comfort in being able to just plug-in and tune-out.
