I thought some of you might be interested in a program called Imagination Theater, which is currently airing. These are all original productions written by Jim French. The stories include drama, suspense, mystery and the occasional mystery. They broadcast 2 half hour episodes every week. One of my favorite series is Harry Nile a PI story in the tradition of Sam Spade or Johnny Dollar.
Below is a link to their station listing and air times.

Michael,
Great tip! I hadn't heard of these and I'm wondering if any are recorded such that I can listen at convenient times.

Michael,
I'd be glad to let you know what I think when I get a chance to give this a listen.

Michael,
I gave it a listen last night. In general, I prefer the CBSRMT but I certainly enjoyed the two programs I listened to. More than anything I think the quality of sound on the Imagination programs lacked a bit and I attribute it to losses induced by the Real Audio compression. The stories were very interesting and I'll be back on a weekly basis. Oddly, I wish I could actually attend one of the tapings just to see what takes place!
